Laverne Cox's holidays just got even brighter. The Orange is the New Black star received a Christmas gift from Beyonce in the mail, and she's sharing it with all of us. Queen Bey gave Cox a "HAPPY HOLIDAYS" note complete with a picture of the singer and a sweatshirt that has her "Partition" lyrics "Cake by the pound."
Bruce Willis is saying thank you to the troops. In a recorded holiday message posted on USO's website on Dec. 18, the Die Hard actor encourages us all to do our part to thank the men and women who are serving our nation far away from their family and friends this holiday season. "Now is the time where [our troops] need us most," Willis says. "I hope that others will join me in showing their gratitude to the brave men and women and in letting them know we are always by their side."
Garth Brooks just made another fan really happy.
When she was 8-years-old, Eden Whitson made the country artist a sign asking him for a hug. Fast forward 17 years later, and Brooks, 52, came out of retirement for a comeback tour and Whitson knew just what to do to make her dream come true.
Whitson reached out to Brooks through Facebook during his Q and A session on the site on Nov. 11 with a picture of her sign saying that she’s been "waiting for the day" to meet him and asked him for a hug at his St. Louis show.
